Armenian Defense Ministry confirmed that its servicemen, Gor Manasarian was killed and his body was left in Azerbaijan’s territory.
Seyan Shahsuvarian, spokesman to the Armenian Defense Ministry stated that G.Manasarian, serving in one of the frontier military units, got lost and was killed by Azerbaijani soldiers, APA informs quoting “Arminfo”. The Armenian side intends to launch talks in order to return his body in the next few days.
To remind, a group of Armenian scouts attempted to cross Azerbaijani border in the direction of Agdam village of Tovuz region, Azerbaijan, on July 19, at about 00:30. Eldar Sabiroglu, head of the press service of the AR Defense Ministry said Azerbaijani military had prevented Armenian scouts’ effort. One of the enemy scouts was killed, but the others could flee.
