260th anniversary of Shusha fortress will be celebrated in the series of events in Azerbaijan next year. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan expected to issue decision on approval of the plan of events, Chief of the Office of Culture and Tourism of Shusha Zahid Abbasov told APA. He said they were planning to organize exhibitions in Azerbaijan and the European countries. “We are planning to exhibit photos of historical and cultural monuments of Shusha before and after their destruction. We are also looking forward to make documentary and to publish a book about the Shusha fortress founded in 1750 by Panahali Khan”.
Abbasov said after the approval of the plan of events they would state the date of first event to celebrate 260th anniversary of Shusha fortress.
