All foreigners visited Nagorno-Karabakh to be persona non grata

Perhaps, Boris Gryzlov was wrongly informed about the decision of the Azerbaijani authorities to declare persona non grata for all foreigners who visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan without permission of the Azerbaijani authorities, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov told Trend.
“This decision applies not only to Russian citizens, but also any foreign citizen. A list of these people has been made. All of them are listed as people whose stay in the territory of Azerbaijan is not desirable,” Polukhov said.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry declared five deputies of the State Duma – Konstantin Zatulin, Igor Chernyshenko, Kirill Cherkasov, Tatiana Volozhinskaya and Maxim Mishchenko as persona non grata for their participation in the monitoring of the “parliamentary elections” held May 23 by the separatist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“Of course, I am against such a decision. I think that there can be no other opinion. The deputies who were in the Nagorno-Karabakh and observed the elections were not an official delegation of the State Duma. Nevertheless, as far as I know, there were about 100 observers from different countries in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The decision concerns Russian MPs. Of course, I treat it negatively, ” Boris Gryzlov said on Monday in Yerevan, answering the question of Novosti-Armenia agency.
