The Armenian Diaspora in the USA launched a real attack against a renowned Professor of Armenian origin. The reason is that Armenian famous scientist, Ronald Suny showed Nagorno-Karabakh as the historical land of Azerbaijanis in his book named “Armenian nation: from ancient times until today”.
Ronald Suny, the founder of the Armenian Researches Program of the Michigan University emphasized that Nagorno-Karabakh was an historical territory of ancient Albanians. The Professor, stressing that Albanians had been the forefathers of Azerbaijanis and Turks, underlined that Nagorno-Karabakh belongs to Azerbaijanis. Suny writes: “Armenians came to the territories named “historical Armenia” 2600 years ago.”Newcomer” colonists destroyed the ancient Urartu state situated there. But Armenian historians, who lived in the V century – Pavstos Buzand, Movses Xorenatsi and Yegishe, are sham historians”.
The Professor’s confession caused a severe protest of the Armenian Diaspora’s radical wing.
