Azerbaijani side has returned four Armenian captives on August 4, “ArmInfo” reports. The captives were handed over to Armenian side in Nakhichevan direction of Azerbaijan- Armenian border on August 4, 12:20 pm, after the negotiations.
Four Armenian citizens – Vanik Zmboyan (Gavar), Artiom Zograbian (Noraduz), Karen Torosian (Noraduz) and Agasi Enokian (Noraduz) passed to Azerbaijani side on the night of April 19.
Relevant information is being prepared for mass media, press service of the AR Ministry of Defense informed Trend News. Ministry of Defense hasn’t disclosed the details yet.
The International Red Cross Committee hasn’t participated in the process, Baku office of the International Red Cross Committee informed Trend News. The parties didn’t appeal to them for mediation and realized the operation themselves.
