Over 2000 Khojaly inhabitants were called to the joint investigative executive group of the General Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of National Security and Ministry of Internal Affairs to testify within last 2 years. Former head of the Khojaly Executive Authority, MP Elman Mammadov, informing APA about it stated he also testified for the investigation. “Khojaly inhabitants called to the investigation body stated in their testimonies that genocide was committed by the leaders of Armenia and separatist regime. The names of former Armenian president, Robert Kocharian, actual president of the country, Serj Sarkisian, former head of the fictitious regime, Arkadi Gukasyan, commander of the 6th battalion of regiment 366 of Russian Armed Forces based in Khankendi and defense minister of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan were especially emphasized in the testimonies. Some Khojaly inhabitants, who were kept in captivity and hostage, personally exposed tortures and insults by those Armenians. After all the materials are collected, an appeal will be sent to the international organizations and the European Court on Human Rights”.
