Claim of the relatives of Alikhan Hkasiyev, who was arrested in Azerbaijan and will be handed over to Russia, to the European Court on Human Rights, was taken to execution. A.Khasiyev, 1979 was detained by Azerbaijani law-enforcement bodies and taken to unknown direction on June 30, 2008, APA inform quoting “Ichkeriya info”. Afterwards it became clear that he will be extradited to Russia. Relatives and lawyers of A.Khasiyev appealed to the European Court on Human Rights in order to prevent it. Claim “Khasiyev against Azerbaijan and Russia” was taken to execution. It was prohibited to hand over A.Khasiyev to Russia until a sentence of the court to be pronounced.
