Ecological terror of Armenians threatens Agstafachay reservoir
Ecological aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan continues. Dangerous situation arose in Agstafachay reservoir located in Jafarly village of Gazakh region, western bureau of APA reports. As far as the source of water is in Armenia, the enemy drains industrial wastes into Agstafachay reservoir by rivers. Lately, Armenians have drained more wastes into Agstafachay reservoir located in Jafarly village of Gazakh region, inhabitants of Jafarly village informed APA’s western bureau. Wastes of bentonite-clay plant in Ijevan region, tobacco fermentation plant, carpet-making enterprise and military plant in Dilijan town are drained into Agstafachay reservoir by rivers passing through Azerbaijan’s territory. Besides, sewerage water of Ijevan region is drained into the reservoir as well. Inhabitants of Jafarly village state they cannot use the reservoir’s water. Samples of the lake water were repeatedly taken and sent to the capital for analysis. Although the water engenders illnesses, inhabitants of Gazakh region are obliged to use it as drinking water.
