Foreign minister of the Azerbaijan Republic, Elmar Mammadyarov received PACE President, Luis Maria de Puig, press service of the ministry informed. The PACE President, getting closely acquainted with the situation in Azerbaijan, stated that in his opinion, Azerbaijan is loyal to the European values and it is able to strengthen its activity in this line. He emphasized that solution of Armenian-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is possible only within Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity underlining that this CoE’s position was reflected in the recently passed resolution. Foreign minister, Elmar Mammadyarov expressing his gratitude for the CoE’s position noted that solution of the conflict is in the interests of Armenia. E.Mammadyarov stated Azerbaijan is loyal to the European values and it will develop co-operation with the CoE in different areas. Other issues were discussed at the meeting as well.
