Armenian government is seriously worried that military budget of the Azerbaijan Republic exceeds Armenia’s total budget, and our country is ready to release its occupied territories.
This issue worried Armenia so much that the official representatives of the annexationist state raised issue about Azerbaijan’s armament in the USA Congress. Leader of the Armenian Foreign Ministry visited the USA where he met with pro-Armenian congressmen informing them about Azerbaijan’s military rhetoric and intention of the state’s leadership to liberate Karabakh.
It is clear that Nalbandian wanted to show by appealing to pro-Armenian congressmen that as if “Azerbaijan violates the international Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe” (editorial remark).
