Goksal Gulbeyi, Executive Head to the Group of Armenian Oppression Victims made a statement on the eve of the 20 January tragedy, journalist, Sardar Unsal stated. According to him, the campaign condemning the Baku massacre will be held in Igdir province on January 20. Reasons for the tragedy and the role of Armenians in its commitment will be discussed; memory of the tragedy victims will be honored and a prayer will be said for their soul on that day.
G.Gulbey also expressed his opinion about the campaign “I apologize to Armenians” started by a group of the so-called intelligentsia in his statement. “Inhabitants of Igdir province are the children of the generation who underwent Armenian genocide. Igdir is the witness of Armenian savagery. So we should demonstrate special activity while unmasking Armenians”.
Inhabitants of Igdir will march to the memorial of martyr Turks slain by Armenians under torches on February 25. On the same day an event will be held in High Industrial School under the Igdir University.
