U.S. President Barack Obama and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Pittsburg, APA reports quoting Anadolu agency.

Situation in the Near East and the ongoing processes in Turkey-Armenia-Azerbaijan triangle were discussed during the 15-minute meeting. Barack Obama appreciated improvement in Turkey-Armenia relations and noted that the development of the relations was important in terms of the future of the region.
Obama underlined that he knew the critical importance of Nagorno Karabakh conflict in terms of the solution of the problems in the region.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the OSCE Minsk Group consisting of the US, Russia and France should be more active in the settlement of the conflict.
