The opening ceremony of a 3-storeyd building with 24 flats for Karabakh war invalids and martyrs’ families took place in Lankaran city. Suleyman Mikaylov, head to the Lankaran Executive Power spoke at the ceremony attended by local people, heads of establishments, enterprises and organizations of the region, invalids of labor, as well as Karabakh war veterans and martyrs’ families. Head of the Executive Power estimated provision of the privileged group of the population with new houses as an example of successful policy carried out by the government. At the end of the event billets and keys to new houses were presented. Some home appliances, including the TV sets, fridges, gas stoves and kitchen furniture were given to the owners of flats on behalf of President, Ilham Aliyev.
