“According to legislation, a certain part of workers in the institutions are required to be disabled. We have already given special task to the State Labour Inspectorate on increase of control over this sphere. Along with this, we want to achieve increase of this quote. We are working on making amendments to the Labour Law and Law on Employment. Moreover, we’ll offer to increase the penalty against employers violating requirements of the existing legislation”, he said.
Along with increase of quote, Muslumov also offered to establish special institutions for disabled persons: “In the market economy, sale opportunities of products produced in such work places are restricted. Therefore, such products should have certain competitiveness. It will be important to take certain measures in this regard”.
The Minister also noted that the Ministry is now working for providing disabled persons with job.
