Three more Armenian businessmen in Ukraine have offered financial and political support to Azerbaijani diaspora.

 

United Ukrainian Azerbaijanis Congress in Lugansk province told APA that all the three Armenian businessmen made this proposal in protest at the activity of Armenian diaspora in Lugansk.

 

Taking into account that the Armenian businessman Robert faced pressures after transferring money to the account of Azerbaijani diaspora, these businessmen’s names are not publicized.

 

“The Armenian businessmen have also said they are ready to support public and social actions. They have said they are doing it in protest at the activity of the Armenian diaspora in the province, accused their compatriots of chauvinism,” the Congress said.

 

Well-known Armenian businessman Robert (last name not disclosed for security) who is living in Lugansk transferred large amounts of money intended for the Armenian Diaspora organization into the fund of Azerbaijani diaspora organization. The amount of the transferred funds hasn’t been disclosed.

 

He said that the cause of his action was a discrepancy occurred between him and Armenian diaspora organization. Criticizing the biased position of the Armenian diaspora organization against the Azerbaijanis and other Turkic peoples living in the region, he expressed his protest in this way.

 

The businessman said that he would continue transferring funds intended for the Armenian diaspora organization into the account of Azerbaijani diaspora organization.

 

After that, local Armenian and pro-Armenian organizations threatened Robert and his relatives.
