Armenian Commander of Shusha “battalion” rejected from his nationality

Jirar Sefilyan pronounced his fight in Nogorno Karabakh as senseless

The former commander of Shusha “battalion”, Lebanese Armenian Jirar Sefilyan officially rejected his nationality. According to information of Azertag, J. Sefilyan being proud of his Armenian nationality everywhere, said to the French newspaper “Armenian news” (Les Nouvelles d’Armenie) that he made such decision as his protest to the Armenian policy.

Sefilyan noted that both former president Robert Kocharyan and present president Serj Sarkisyan lied in their election campaigns. “The activities of both presidents lead the country to precipice. Their activity made the people poor. The big institutions ended their activity. The present policy of the leading circles made the country dependent on other countries. The unemployment is upgrading. The social situation of the people worsens day by day. The migration of Armenians increased. The projects presented for the development of the country are nonsense in reality. Today we work in political situation against the people. To my mind, all my countrymen realize well the leading policy, but they fear to protest it”. J. Sefilyan noted that the present president Serj Sarkisyan continues the policy of Robert Kocharyan and this policy leads the country to precipice.

“There is no law in the country and none of the governmental decisions are implemented. Officials hear only the supporters of leaders. They announce that if you wish to deal with politics you should be only with us. Then everything will be better.” At the end the Armenian, who rejected from his nationality as a protest to the leading policy, pronounced his fight in Nogorno Karabakh as senseless.
