Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian presidents held useful negotiations

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov issued a statement on the outcomes of the Sochi meeting of Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian presidents, APA reports.

Foreign Minister said the presidents continued the negotiations in the previous format, the dialogue strengthened the efforts of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to find the variant of the peaceful solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
“The negotiations were very useful, the parties viewed the concrete proposals of the co-chairs. There is a common understanding and all this has been covered in the preamble of the documents. The parties appreciate the existence of such a document, as it allows holding negotiations basing on concrete formulas, not in the abstract form. The most important result of today’s negotiations is that the parties will prepare their formulas concerning the uncoordinated issues and then these formulas will be included into the document. The parties had open talks and we are sure that it will help the co-chairs in their future activity. The negotiations were useful and the president agreed to continue the dialogue,” he said.
