PACE suspends credentials of Armenian delegation

The credentials of the Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe were suspended by the organization`s winter session over fake in forming the delegation. The final decision on the credentials will be made after PACE Bureau`s studying the issue.
The Azerbaijani delegation led by Samad Seyidov expressed opinion on the issues discussed during the winter session.
The session participants heard the report on the presidential election in Ukraine.
Mevlut Çavusoglu from Turkey was elected as new PACE President.
PACE vice-presidents were reelected. One of them is the head of Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE Samad Seyidov.
Issues discussed included increasing women`s representation in politics through the electoral system, the situation in the Middle East, functioning of democratic institutions in Albania, action against trafficking in human beings.
