PACE President, Luis Maria de Puig, visiting Azerbaijan, is touring northern territories. The PACE President is accompanied by the delegation lead by Oktay Asadov, speaker of Milli Majlis (AR parliament), APA’s northern bureau reports. Luis Maria de Puig first of all visited the synagogue functioning in “Girmizi Gesebe” (Red settlement) of Guba, and met with members of the Jewish community living in the settlement. Later on, the guest visited the mass burial place, where the people savagely killed by Armenians were buried at the begging of the century. The PACE President was informed about the genocide committed against Azerbaijanis; samples of corpses extracted in the burial place were demonstrated to him.
