“The government of Azerbaijan has already prepared the “Program of Return”.
The embassies and international organizations accredited in the country and governmental organizations were also involved in the elaboration of this program. If peace agreement is signed, the program will be implemented phase-by-phase”, said Vice Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov, APA reports. He said the IDP programs carried out so far had a social character, but further programs would be developed mostly in the direction of development, rehabilitation and restoration of working abilities of the displaced persons. “These people were living with the humanitarian assistances for 16 years, but now we must prepare them for return. We involved all international organizations in this work”.
