“The meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents and the joint document signed by them is a very positive case”, Alan Vaddams, envoy of the European Commission to Azerbaijan stated to APA.
He positively estimated the initiative of Russian President, Dmitry Medvedyev to arrange this meeting, as Russia is one of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair country. The diplomat considers that the events held to create mutual confidence between the conflict parties is a very good idea. “But as for me, it would be difficult to establish these contacts. It wouldn’t be easy to take measures which will satisfy both sides”.
