Azerbaijan and Armenia should not reduce the intensiveness of the contacts on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev called on Azerbaijan and Armenia not to reduce the intensiveness of the contacts on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, APA reports quoting ITAR-TASS.

Dmitry Medvedev said at the press conference after the talks with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents had recently held regular meetings with the participation of the Russian President.
“The intensiveness of the contacts should not fall. Russia is ready to fulfill its commitments within the framework of the Minsk Group. We are also ready to fulfill our moral commitments as a neighboring state. I am ready to continue such contacts and discuss the most complicated issues on the agenda,” he said.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to his Russian counterpart for the mediation mission.
“I am sure that the participation of the Russian President plays a positive role and the talks with his participation are more effective,” he said.
