Citizen of Iran deported from Azerbaijan

Persons illegally hunting in Aghgol National Park of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry were detained, the ministry’s press service told APA.

On October 28, the employees of Aghgol National Park raided to prevent illegal hunting and saw a Niva in the territory of the National Park. They wanted to detain the car, but the persons in the car escaped.

The employees of the National Park detained the wrongdoers together with Aghjabadi region police office.

It was found out that the persons, who attempted to hunt illegally in the administrative area of Aghgol National Park, are – citizen of Islamic Republic of Iran Zergani Ali Chaseb, Baku resident Rufullazadeh Sadig Jabir and resident of Tovuz region Bayramli village Huseynov Mustafa Jabrayil. Bird trap for hunting falcons, doves were found in the car. The detainees said citizen of Syria (not identified yet) had led them, but he fled during the pursuit.
The detainees said they came to hunt the falcon included into the Red Book of Azerbaijan Republic.

Protocol was drawn up in accordance with article 111.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences and Iranian Zergani Ali Chaseb was deported from the republic for violating the law on hunting of Azerbaijan Republic. Applications were sent to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and Interior Ministry to ban his coming to the country.

The citizen of Syria, who was mentioned by the wrongdoers in their testimonies, is being identified.
