Official Washington welcomes the Moscow meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents. The United States hopes for continuation of negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement within the framework of Basic Principles, US Department of State spokesman, Mark Toner stated. “We are pleased with the parties’ obligation to continue the talks on the solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In September, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs met in New-York within the session of the UN General Assembly, but this weekend they met in Moscow. We hope for continuation of talks for peaceful settlement of the conflict within the framework of Basic Principles”, he emphasized.
